A digital badge is a physical, online sign that you have achieved something. The symbol on this update post is an example of a digital badge for mastering the module on the Soft Technical Skill© of Designing a Career.
When we as human beings achieve something, we want other people to know and recognize it. Digital badges make that happen. When you master a training module on a Soft Technical Skill©, you are eligible for a credential from the Soft Technical Skills Institute. This credential entitles you to display your digital badge online, in job applications, your occupational resume, periodic job performance reviews, and elsewhere.
Badges include information about what was required to achieve the badge. What mental occupational skills were mastered? This information is always available to you and to anyone else, such as a supervisor or prospective employer, interested in verifying your credentials. This is available 24/7 from the STSI.
